Community Activities
Arivaca Local Monthly Potluck the last Sunday of the month at 5:30pm. Meetings will be at Obe Sweetwater's home unless otherwise posted at Library or Post office. Celebrating local foods and community.
Human Resources Rummage Sale (next to the Human Resources building) Every month on the FIRST Saturday of the month. Proceeds benefit Human Resources programs.
Silent Meditation (Old Schoolhouse) Mondays from 5:30 to 6:15 pm; doors open at 5:15 pm.

Mondays and Thursdays, gather at 4:00 pm, yoga starts at 4:15 pm.

Library Pre-school and Toddler Story Hour (Arivaca Library) Wednesday mornings at 11:30 am.

Summer Reading Program programs for children sponsored by the Library (at Community Center) Wednesdays at 1 pm starting in June. (You do not have to be enrolled in the Parks and Rec program)

Board Meeting on third Saturday of the month at 3:00 pm
Books for Sale by Friends of the Arivaca Library in the Library's meeting room anytime the Library is open.
Book Club meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday of the Month at 2 pm, call for info (594-5239)
Arivaca Family and Community Education Assn. (Old Schoolhouse)
Meetings usually on third Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm at the Old School (or at Library--call first)--398-2344. This organization maintains the Old School and provides scholarships and educational programs.
Arivaca Fire District (Fire Station) Board Meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Call Mark Dresang at 398-2901 for more information.
Arivaca Pioneer Cemetery Association. Annual meeting and cleanup held in October. Potluck at about 11:30 followed by meeting. Contact Clara Godfrey or Mary Kasulaitis or any board member with burial requests.
Arivaca Water Cooperative Assn. Meetings are at 3:30 pm the first Sunday of each month in the town water yard.
Arivaca Clinic Meeting (AAHS) monthly meetings are usually the last Wednesday of the month at 4 pm at the Clinic.
Arivaca Action Center, Inc. Board meetings on the second Sunday of each month at 4 pm at 15925 W. Universal Ranch Rd (formerly Carivaca) Email: arivacaactioncenterinc@gmail.com This organization supports preschool education.
